Zoe Saldana, born June 19th, 1978, was the daughter of Asalia Nazario, and Aridio Saldana. His father was Dominican and her mother is Puerto Rican. Her mother is Puerto Rican and her father was Dominican. The family she was born into moved to Dominican Republic at the age of 10, where they'd stay for the rest of seven years. Zoe's love for dancing was piqued while they were living in the Dominican Republic. Zoe started her dance education at ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy. In addition to giving a place to express creativity for young people who are enthusiastic and passionate, her dance training will prove to be an important precursor in her beginning professional career as an actor.
